WELCOME TO TNABA
"Living active and fulfilling lives through adventure!"
Welcome to the Tennessee Association of Blind Athlete's (TNABA) official website The TNABA is a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of blind and visually impaired individuals of Tennessee, through physical fitness and sports recreation. We are the state affiliate of the United States Association of Blind Athletes (USABA), and together we are committed to showing the world that blind and visually impaired people of all ages have extraordinary abilities.
We have many opportunities for our members to be active in. The TNABA offers many wonderful programs such as tandem cycling, bowling, fitness and yoga classes, and our premier sport of goalball. As we grow so too will the opportunities for our athletes. TNABA and the USABA are also dedicated to educate our communities of the exceptional abilities of their blind peers and the simplicity of the adaptive sports world. Our goal is to consult and work with physical educators, special and vision teachers, parents, blind individuals, and others in our state, to create a more active lifestyle for the visually impaired men, women, and children in our communities.
This website was created to help you better understand our organization and to allow members access to valuable resources and information. We would like to thank you for stopping in and hope this website helps answer question and gives you the tools you need to be more active in your community. Please feel free to contact us if we can answer any questions or if you are interested in joining our growing movement.
